Tottenham are reviving their bid for Espanyol defender Dani Jarque.

The Daily Mail says Spurs have made another enquiry for the 25-year-old, who has told the Spanish club he wants to go to White Hart Lane.

Head coach Juande Ramos is a big fan of the defender, having promoted him from the youth set-up to the first team when he was in charge of Espanyol six years ago.

But Espanyol are still insisting they won't sell for any less than the release clause of 12m euros (£9million) in his contract.
