Tottenham to send loan players to Nottingham Forest

Tottenham and Nottingham Forest are ready to strengthen their relationship.

The London Evening Standard says Spurs are expected to send at least one of their young players to Nottingham Forest before the start of next season.

Mark Warburton, who took over as Forest boss in March, has a good relationship with John McDermott, Spurs' head of coaching and development, which is likely to pave the way for the agreements.

McDermott oversees every age-group team at Tottenham below the first team and is responsible for arranging loans for those not yet deemed ready to work with Mauricio Pochettino's first-team squad.

When Warburton was in charge at Rangers, defender Dominic Ball and attacker Nathan Oduwa had loan spells there and it is likely that similar deals will happen this summer.
