Tottenham have secured the services of midfielder Sandro to a long-term deal the club has announced.
The 22-year old Brazilian today penned a new five-year contract with Spurs which will run until 2016.
Sandro joined Tottenham from homeland club Internacional in August 2009 and made quite an impression last season in his 26 appearances in all competitions, particularly with some strong performances during the Champions League campaign.
Sandro has yet to feature for the White Hart Lane outfit this term as a knee injury has delayed his start to the current season.
