West Ham United face a battle to sign Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.

The Sun says Keane angered Spurs chiefs last week when he priced himself out of a £6m to Birmingham by asking for a four-year deal worth £65,000-a-week.

West Ham are eager to take Keane for the rest of the season and offered a £1m loan fee.

But Spurs are only interested in a permanent £6m deal and are in no mood to help their Olympic Stadium rivals.
