Tottenham have told West Ham United to cough up £6 million for Jamie O'Hara.

The Sun says Avram Grant is set to take over as Hammers boss after quitting Portsmouth last week.

And he wants to take O'Hara with him after the Spurs midfielder, 23, impressed during his season on loan at Pompey.

O'Hara has made it clear he wants first-team football next season and would be keen to join Grant at Upton Park.

But Spurs chief Harry Redknapp is a big O'Hara fan and will only sell if it raises significant cash to bolster his squad.
