Tottenham are targeting a move for Genoa forward Giovanni Simeone – son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone.

The 22-year-old scored 12 league goals for his side last season, and currently, he is a target for a number of clubs in Europe.

Besides Spurs, the likes of Crystal Palace, and Serie A sides Torino and Fiorentina are reportedly interested in the services of the young forward.

Simeone joined Genoa from Argentinean club River Plate in a €3 million deal last summer.
