Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph is a target for Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino.
The People says the newly-capped England ace is out with a shoulder injury at the moment, but Pochettino is desperate to add power to his stuttering engine-room.
The 25-year-old's contract at Villa Park runs out next year and manager Paul Lambert may have little option but to cash in on him during the January transfer window, or risk losing the player on a Bosman for nothing.
Liverpool are also chasing the former Leeds United starlet.
