Former Manchester United striker Rudd van Nistelrooy says he intends on fighting for his spot at Real Madrid despite interest from Tottenham.
The Dutchman believes he can still cement a place in the first team despite off-season moves for Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and David Villa despite battling a knee injury.
"I'm injured so I do not know what they want of me," Van Nistelrooy told NIS.
"I am happy at Real and want to go back and get the opportunity to prove myself.
"I have a strong motivation to succeed at Real. I believe I have plenty to offer Real."
