Nigerian international Taye Taiwo is set to remain with French Ligue 1 club Marseille.
Les Phoceens president Jean-Claude Dassier insists that the 25-year old left-back will not be leaving the Stade Velodrome this summer despite interest from Tottenham.
"It's done. He's staying with Marseille. He's a top player and he should be staying here," said Dassier.
"I don't know if the old president promised that he could leave, but that's not me."
