Tottenham are ready to bring in a high-profile sports director.
The Sunday Mirror says Franco Baldini and Txiki Begiristain are two of the candidates Tottenham are considering to overhaul the club's recruitment department.
Ian Broomfield left his post as chief scout and Spurs are now reviewing their recruitment and transfer strategy.
Manager Andre Villas-Boas already knows Baldini well and is keen for the former England number two to join him at White Hart Lane. But chairman Daniel Levy has a good relationship with Begiristain and has considered appointing the former Barcelona sporting director on numerous occasions.
