The agent of Leandro Damiao says his client is set to sign a new deal with Internacional.
The 21-year old Brazilian striker has emerged as a strong target for Tottenham this summer who have already had a bid rejected.
Internacional have no intentions of selling the Brazil international and his representative, Vinicius Prates, says he will now show his commitment to the Colorado.
"It's a gift to the Internacional fans, Damiao will stay until the end of the year, unless something really extraordinary comes along, but he stays at Beira-Rio [the club's stadium]. The contract renewal is a way to value the player," he told Lancenet.
