Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh, a long-time target for Tottenham, admits he wants a move to Arsenal.

"I actually heard about it," said Chamakh. "But my agent has not spoken to me so I remain focused on the field and the end of the season.

"It is true that I yearn for the Premier League and a club like Arsenal, it's always a dream. If they call me, I will give a positive response.

"But there is nothing concrete yet."
