Tottenham are locked in talks with Blackburn Rovers today over a deal for David Bentley.
The Mirror says Spurs aim to clinch the £17million capture of England star Bentley - and send Paul Robinson to Blackburn in the deal.
Robinson is heading out of White Hart Lane after losing his place as first-choice keeper, and will take over from Blackburn's long-serving Brad Friedel, who has been tempted to leave by a lucrative three-year contract at Aston Villa.
