Tottenham are chasing Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin.
Milan sources say Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas wants a reunion with his former Porto star.
Spurs have asked Inter to name their price for Guarin, which is believed to be around £7.5 million. Inter coach Andrea Stramaccioni was forced to deny the reports last night after their draw with Genoa.
