Tottenham have held talks with Napoli defender Raul Albiol.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to bring Albiol to London in January and RAI says talks have kicked off with his agent.
However, the former Real Madrid defender is reluctant to part from Napoli coach Rafa Benitez.
It's suggested Albiol will not leave Napoli so long as Benitez remains in charge.
Meanwhile, Napoli chief Riccardo Bigon met with the agent of Empoli goalkeeper Luigi Sepe yesterday. Sepe's registration is owned by the Azzurri.
Bigon has assured Sepe's representatives that he will be handed a pay-rise in 2015.
