Tottenham take first points off Chelsea

Boss Juande Ramos said they deserved a share of the spoils.

Darren Bent equalised for Spurs right on the stroke of half time after Juliano Belletti had given Chelsea the lead.

"Matches last a long time, in the first half I think we were paying too much respect to our opponents and were maybe overawed by Chelsea," Ramos claimed.

However, an improved second 45 minutes pleased the manager.

Ramos concluded: "In the second half we kept the ball regularly and deserved the point that we got."
