Tottenham have made a new offer for West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker.
The Daily Express says Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made an improved £8 million bid for Scott Parker, with West Ham manager Avram Grant now reluctantly prepared to sell in the January transfer window.
Redknapp chased Parker last summer and had a £7m offer for the midfielder rejected. But it seems certain that he is now playing out his last month at Upton Park.
A West Ham source said: "The fact is the player wants to take his career on to another level at Spurs and there is no point in keeping an unsettled footballer."
