Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has ditched his PlayStation to work on his English studies.
Spurs striker coach Les Ferdinand has gone public with the Russian's struggles with the local lingo and the forward revealed: "Believe me I study really hard. At some point I wanted to buy a Playstation - I like to relax playing virtual ice-hockey - but I decided against it. It would leave me less time for my studies.
"I have learned quite a lot of English words, of course, but when the manager gives us instructions I can only get a very general sense of what he says."
