Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko has revealed he's set to surpass his expectations this season.

Pavlyuchenko is two away from his 15-goal target in his rookie season in the Premier League.

"I had set myself a target of 15 goals for my first season but if I reach that target I won't stop there," he said. "I have got to grips with the style of English football and adapted my game.

"We've been frustrated by our league position for some time but hopefully now things will start to improve. Now we can't afford to take our foot off the gas."
