Roman Pavlyuchenko feels he can thrive under the tactical approach of new Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp.
"The tactics of the team have changed a bit, and I began to play further up - the way I was accustomed in Spartak and the national team," said the Russia striker.
"I tracked back less and moved to the wings less and played as the only out-and-out centre forward.
"To tell you the truth, I am better adjusted to this kind of game."
On his home life, Pavlyuchenko added: "I am to move into a rented for me house on Wednesday. Immediately after, I am going to bring my family form Moscow.
"So there is only one problem - language. But I am studying it very intensely.
"Every day my vocabulary expands with new words. And I think by the time Spartak comes here to play, I will communicate with them in English."
