Harry Kane admits it would be a great thrill to watch Wayne Rooney set a new England scoring record at Wembley.
The Three Lions captain converted from the penalty spot to draw level with Sir Bobby Charlton on 49 international goals in Saturday's 6-0 mauling of San Marino in Serravalle.
Rooney was later replaced by Kane which gives the Manchester United skipper the chance to break the England record in Tuesday night's Euro2016 qualifier against Switzerland at headquarters, something the Tottenham striker would love to see.
"Obviously I was delighted for Wayne to equal the record and hopefully he can go out Tuesday night and beat it," said the Spurs young gun.
"We're all rooting for him. I think the whole country is rooting for him to do it, so I am sure he will keep focused and try to do it on Tuesday night."
