Tottenham striker Kane shrugs off scattergun Norwich form

Tottenham striker Harry Kane isn't panicking over his scattergun form for Norwich City.

Kane was handed his Norwich debut as a substitute against West Ham, but spurned the chance to become an instant hit when he scuffed his shot after being played clean through on goal in the closing moments.

"That is football - everyone misses chances. I have just to keep getting in those positions and then take the next one," said Kane, who had productive loan spells at Leyton Orient and Millwall in the past two seasons.

"You just have to get on with it. The quicker you put it out of your mind and move on, the quicker you can take the next one.

"I have proved I can score goals with the two loan spells I have been on, now I want to do that in the Premier League.

"I came here to get some minutes under my belt and so tomorrow night will be a great chance to prove myself to the gaffer to try to push for a Premier League spot.

"We want to go out there and do the job against Doncaster to get through to the next round, if we play the way we can, then we should get the result.

"If we can get a win, then hopefully we can kick on and take that into the Premier League."
