Tottenham fans' favourite Harry Kane says his time on-loan with Leyton Orient was important for his development.
Kane made his pro debut for the Orient three years ago.
"I remember like it was yesterday," said Kane to the Daily Mail. "The pitch was really wet and boggy and they'd thought about calling it off. I went on and charged about everywhere. I don't think even the manager was expecting that from me. They thought I was on loan from Spurs and I'd be waiting to get on the ball and do a bit.
"I was determined to show what I could do and here was my chance. It wasn't like I'd always wanted to play for Spurs and here I was starting my career at Rochdale. I've always seen every game I've played as the chance to get where I want to go. Through all my loan moves, that's always been the case.
"I've enjoyed them all and taken something from them. I enjoyed it at Orient and had a good time at Millwall. Even the ones which didn't go so well for me, at Norwich and Leicester when I didn't play so much, I feel like I've been able to take something from them and become a better player."
