Tottenham striker Harry Kane is happy with the praise coming his way. Kane has become a favourite of many ex-players in the media.
"I think they appreciate a good attitude and hard work," Kane told the Daily Mail. "Some great players have said nice things about me - Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher. I know with England there is added expectation, people think you should keep progressing in every game, but I don't mind that because that is what I want, too. It doesn't stop here. This isn't the highlight of my career. I want to go on and become bigger and better and win things for Tottenham and England.
"Maybe if I have a bad game, yes, people are going to question it, but sport is so big now and how you cope with that defines you as a player.
"You have to be ready for it all, for teams trying to stop you, too. The better you get, the harder it gets."
