Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe says England's clash with Germany tomorrow will be the biggest of his career.
Defoe is hoping to keep his place after scoring the winner against Slovenia.
Asked if it was the biggest game of his life, the 27-year-old responded: "Definitely, but every game is a big game. We all love playing football. This is a massive game for everyone and I'll be ready if called upon."
Defoe also told the Spurs website: "It's important to stay positive, think positive and this is the situation we are in.
"Germany are a great footballing nation, fantastic in major tournaments, but we're a great side and we showed that against Slovenia.
"There is no point in thinking what might have been, this is where we are and we're looking forward to it."
