Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe has already scored the winner at Real Madrid - in his mind.
Defoe revealed he uses visualisation techniques - painting pictures in his mind - to give him the belief he can score on football's biggest stages.
He said: "I always visualise things. I don't know if other players do it but I have always got to paint pictures in my mind of doing great things.
"A lot of times I'll have pictures in my mind and for some mad reason the pictures that you paint in your mind happen. When it does happen it almost seems like deja vu.
"And Real Madrid is just another game. What would you be scared of?
"You are playing at the Bernabeu against potentially the biggest club in the world with great players - but that is why you play football."
