Tottenham striker Peter Crouch is excited about their looming clash with Real Madrid.
Crouch is up their Champions League quarterfinal tie.
"Real Madrid in the quarter-finals is why you become a footballer," the former Liverpool striker said.
"You're there to pit yourself against the best in Europe, playing in cities and stadiums you've never experienced before.
Crouch continued: "Its such an exciting competition. I think the players raise their game when it comes to Champions League nights; the atmosphere is electric.
"From a goalscoring perspective it seems to bring out the best in me and long may that continue.
"Looking at the draw we'll have to have beaten Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid and maybe Barcelona. So if we got to the final, I think we deserve it!"
