Tottenham striker Peter Crouch will have to take a 50 per cent pay-cut to return to QPR.

Tottenham striker Peter Crouch will have to take a 50 per cent pay-cut to return to QPR.

The Sun says a £6million deal for Tottenham's beanpole striker has a chance only if the player is willing to HALVE his wages.

Boyhood Hoops fan Crouch, who cut his first-team teeth at Loftus Road a decade ago, is now on Spurs' surplus list.

He is currently trousering £80,000 a week, while QPR chief Warnock pays his players around 50 per cent of that.
