It was destiny for Tottenham striker Peter Crouch to be sent off at Real Madrid.

Crouch was dismissed during the 4-0 reverse for two reckless tackles.

The striker has made more fouls than any player in the Champions League. The challenges aren't nasty, but he has struggled to handle playing against continental opponents.

Crouch now faces a ban after last night's red.
