Tottenham striker Adebayor leaves door open to Man City return

Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is unsure about a long-term stay with Tottenham.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp rescued him from the obscurity of training with the youth team at City.

But he insisted: "I don't think I am difficult to manage. I don't think Arsene Wenger would say that and I got on well with Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid.

"With Mancini, the problems were about football."

Long-term, Adebayor has no idea what the future holds. He said: "I am here for one season and I am on loan.

"After that, I don't know. That is up to the clubs. Maybe if I am the league top scorer, City will want me back!"
