Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he WILL celebrate scoring against Arsenal tomorrow.

But the Togo ace insists it won't be in the manner he did two years ago with Manchester City.

Adebayor said, "What I've done with Arsenal was fantastic. I must thank Arsene Wenger as, because of him, I became a better player and person.

"The people who pay me are Tottenham. If I have to score one goal, two goals or three goals to help my team win, I'll do it.

"I've already apologised so many times for what happened with Manchester City. Emotions took over and I regret, to be honest, what I did. I have said that publicly, because Arsenal gave me everything.

"If I have a chance to score again on Sunday, trust me I will do - but the celebration will not be the same. We're all human and can only learn from our mistakes.

"I committed a big mistake that day but it was emotional. Nobody can accept everybody - 5,000 or 10,000 people - abusing your mother and father.

"I'm a striker and must score as many goals as I can. If I can get one, two, three, four, five or six against Arsenal, trust me I'll do it and be happy to score.

"But I'll not run from one end to the other. All that is over. I'm a big man and sometimes you must forget what's in the past and look to the future.

"Now I'm playing for Tottenham and if I get the chance to score again, whether they abuse me or not, I've learned from my mistake.

"Even if they abuse me again, fair play is more important, and if I score I'll enjoy it with my fans and with team-mates.

"The most important thing is to get three points for my club, which is Tottenham. Even though it is against Arsenal, it'll be just another game."
