Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor says he remains committed to Togo.

After their African Cup of Nations elimination, Adebayor made clear he remains committed to playing for his national team.

"I'm still young, so when my country needs me, I'm ready. I have helped to start something new and want to continue," said Adebayor.

"This year we were stopped in the quarterfinals, so maybe we'll reach the final next time. As long as I have the chance to win something, I cannot simply up."
