Tottenham have entered a formal partnership with Hong Kong's South China. Along with football-based objectives there will also be an agreement to explore further commercial opportunities.

Paul Barber, Tottenham Hotspur Executive Director to the club's website: "Tottenham Hotspur already has an established following in Hong Kong and given the history and success of South China they are a welcome partner. The agreement with South China is an exciting opportunity for the Club to grow in a key commercial market."

Mr. Steven Lo, Chairman of South China Football Management Committee said: "South China is seeking to venture internationally and is honoured to be Tottenham Hotspur's first club partner in Asia."

The partnership is initiated with a two-year contract with an option for further engagement.
