Tottenham are believed to still be on the trail of Everton captain Phil Neville.
Spurs were told by Toffees management that Neville was going nowhere earlier this week but fresh reports indicate that Harry Redknapp is still poking around.
It has been suggested that Tottenham are prepared to pay £2million for the 34-year old but Everton have made it clear that their skipper will not be departing Goodison Park, despite having just 18 months left on his contract.
