Former Chelsea and Tottenham goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini is confident that current Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris would be a perfect fit for Manchester United.
United number one David De Gea has been very strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid and Lloris has emerged as the favourite to replace the Spaniard at Old Trafford.
Cudicini told talkSPORT: "There are rumours about Hugo Lloris going there.
"Obviously Manchester United are a top club and top clubs want a top goalkeeper and Hugo is definitely up there."
Cudicini, who touched on Petr Cech's move from Chelsea to Arsenal, added: "It's tough. I expected United to be in the running for Cech as well but it is not easy.
"It is such an important position that you want to be sure that whoever you take is there and will perform. Hugo Lloris could do that."
