Tottenham star Harry Kane says that he is facing the toughest battle of his life to win the Golden Boot this season.

The England international, who has won the accolade during the previous two seasons, is facing tough competition from the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and Sergio Aguero this season.

Kane scored a brace in the 4-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday to take his season tally to six goals in seven league fixtures.

"It's frustrating I didn't get a hat-trick," said Kane after the game at The John Smith's Stadium.

"They have all started so well. This will the hardest season to retain it."
