Tottenham star Heung-Min Son has said that he believes that his side deserved to beat Juventus during their Champions League last-16 tie.
Many fans and pundits expected Spurs to advance to the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition after they managed to draw 2-2 with the Italian giants during the first leg in Italy.
However, Juventus showed their class as they progressed to the quarter-finals with 2-1 win at Wembley in the second leg.
Son opened the scoring on the night, however his side went on to suffer disappointing home defeat and bowed out 4-3 on aggregate.
"It doesn't matter when we beat Real Madrid or Dortmund, it doesn't matter," he said.
"Juventus is another good team, and another top team in Europe. I think we played very well – better than them.
"I say we deserved more than this but football is about scoring goals and they scored two goals at Wembley Stadium. We have to accept the result."
