Eric Dier was over the moon for Tottenham Hotspur teammate Danny Rose following his England debut on the weekend.
The 25-year-old made his first start for the Three Lions and went the full 90 minutes as they came from two goals to beat reigning World Champions Germany 3-2 in Berlin, prompting this response from Spurs colleague Dier.
"I am really happy for Danny Rose because I think it's a long time coming, really," said Dier, who scored his first international goal to win it for England in injury-time.
"For me, he has been the best left-back in the Premier League this season so I am really happy he got his chance (to play for England)."
