Tottenham left back Ben Davies believes that manager Mauricio Pochettino can help take the club to another level.

Much like the rest of the squad, Davies was delighted when he learned that his manager had signed a new five-year deal with the club.

Pochettino is now committed to Spurs through 2023. And he believes the club must take a few risks if they are to improve from a top-four team to one that competes for league titles.

"Yeah, I can understand what he's saying," Davies said to the Evening Standard.

"Now it's all about trying to reach that next level and, as players, we want to do the same.

"That's great news for us as a club and it's fantastic to see him staying on. He's been amazing to work under and it's nice to see that continue."
