Tottenham and England winger David Bentley is ploughing his vast fortune into property opportunities in Spain.

The Sun says Bentley owns a trendy bar called Buddha Beach in Spain's swish resort of Puerto Banus and has also invested in property on an exclusive development near Estepona.

He said: "It's great just to chill out and recharge the batteries.

"I love the beach bar, there is no better place to hang out and have a beer right on the beach."
