Tottenham and Southampton are monitoring Pablo Daniel Osvaldo's situation at AS Roma.
Roma are putting the Italy international up for sale after a controversial season in the capital.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has held a long-term interest in Osvaldo since he was starring with Espanyol, where he worked with Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Roma are seeking £15 million for the centre-forward.
