Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris has been ruled out for four weeks with a hamstring injury.
The France international was forced off in Saturday's opening-day Premier League fixture against Everton in the 35th minute of the game due to the injury he sustained, with Michel Vorm his replacement in the eventual 1-1 draw.
The North London club released a statement confirming the extent of the player's fitness issue.
"Following further assessment of the hamstring injury sustained by Hugo, we can confirm he's expected to be out of action for around 4 weeks," the club statement read.
"Our captain left the field during the first half at Goodison Park and our medical team will continue to monitor his progress during his rehabilitation to determine when he will be ready to return to training."
