Tottenham skipper Ledley King says they're showing the necessary steel to challenge for the top four this season.
King struck in their win at Portsmouth and said afterwards: "This is a result we probably wouldn't have got in previous years.
"It shows the resilience we now have. There's more steel in our squad these days.
"Last season we were looking at the results of the teams battling to stay up. Now we're celebrating when Chelsea and Liverpool lose. It's a lot nicer. It was backs to the wall stuff when we were down to 10 men but we hung in there as a team and our keeper pulled off some great saves.
"After the start we had last season, we knew it was important to do a lot better this time. Now we're up there challenging at the top and I'm delighted."
