Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will rest Ledley King for tomorrow's Carling Cup tie with Liverpool.
Holders Tottenham are eyeing a second win over Liverpool in 12 days and a place in the quarter-finals to continue their revival under Redknapp.
But King, 28, will be mothballed until Saturday's league clash with Fulham because of ongoing worry over his long-standing knee problems, says The Sun.
The centre-half played three games in eight days last week, culminating in his 250th appearance for the club in Sunday's 2-1 win at Manchester City.
