Tottenham defender Ledley King is on the verge of finally returning to full training.

The Spurs skipper hopes to join in with the first team later this week, and new coach Juande Ramos could have him available for selection in four weeks time - a luxury denied departed boss Martin Jol for much of the past two seasons.
