Tottenham skipper Ledley King is delighted to see Darren Bent in the England squad.

King said: "Darren Bent deserved his selection, because he has scored a lot of important goals for us this season. It was only a matter of time before he got the call-up.

"He is a goalscorer. He loves to play on the shoulder of the last defender; he can get behind the opposing defence and he is a great finisher. But you have to play to his strengths. If you do that, he will score goals."
