Tottenham captain Ledley King has welcomed new signings Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor.
Both made their mark in victory at Wolves.
"We knew what we were getting and what they would bring to the team and we saw that straight away at Wolves," King, outstanding on his return to central defence, told the Spurs website.
"Scott was brilliant, getting around people, winning the ball and setting us off on attacks.
"Ade gives you that something different up front. He's a big man, can hold the ball, is skilful, quick and scores goals.
"We're delighted to have them both at the club."
