Tottenham skipper Willam Gallas has jumped to the defence of manager Andre Villas-Boas after defeat at home to Wigan Athletic.

Gallas has been handed the captain's armband under Villas-Boas this season.

Gallas has backed the under-fire Spurs boss, saying: "He wants to win, win, win."
