Tottenham signing Jan Vertonghen says he'll work hard to do justice to Ajax during his time in England.

Vertonghen hopes his time at White Hart Lane boosts the profile of his former club.

"I will keep the most fantastic memories of Ajax and Amsterdam," said the Belgian. "The club and the city have made me as a person. I go there to London to publicize Amsterdam."
