The form of Gareth Bale is set to be rewarded by Tottenham in the form of a five-year deal believed to be in the region of £13million.

The 20-year old Wales international has shot to prominence with a string of outstanding performances for Spurs this term and manager Harry Redknapp confirmed he would be offered a brand new deal despite having two years to run on his current one.

"The club will be offering Bale a new contract. He has come on bundles in recent months and he deserves it. He's a fantastic young player with a great future and we would be mad to think about selling him," Redknapp said.
